Founded by me, Richard Chipchase, Hire Standard is built on over 21 years of hands on consulting in the field of talent acquisition. I began building internal recruitment teams long before LinkedIn existed and at a time when in-house hiring was widely treated as a cost saving exercise.

Talent is not an overhead. It is the single most important asset a company has. Hire Standard exists to ensure hiring functions are built with the same care, discipline, and intent as the businesses they support.

About Richard

From the age of 17, Richard learned discipline, resilience and integrity through training in the Royal Marines, operating in environments where clarity and trust were non-negotiable.

 

He carried that foundation into a global talent career, building and leading recruitment functions for fast-growing start-ups, gaming studios and venture-backed companies across the UK, Europe and the US.

Today, he uses that mix of empathy and precision to help founders, hiring leaders and recruiters make better decisions and hire with confidence.
